A vacuum receiver tank typically consists of a cylindrical or spherical Receiver made of metal or other suitable materials capable of withstanding vacuum pressures. It is equipped with inlet and outlet connections, vacuum gauges to monitor and control the vacuum pressure inside the tank.

Vacuum Receivers are typically used in a Central Plastics Conveying Systems to transfer plastic pellets, regrind or powders from a material source to destinations like Surge Bins, Drying Hoppers, Blender Bins or directly to the throat of a processing machine.
